The catalogue shows how the typewriter became redundant. It does so in reverse chronological order. Each page describes one step in the development and demise of the typewriter. It provides hand drawn illustrations of each specific model of typewriter and describes the reasons for its demise. The catalogue ends in April 2011 with the closing of the very last typewriter factory. The catalogue is typeset using a typewriter and features a specially designed typewriter generated display font.

Based on evidence material collected from general history, visual art, literature and personal experience, the changes of shape and meaning in daily life seem to be not much more than clever and sometimes all too obvious forms of repetition.

Museum of Excuses
The "Museum of Excuses(2012)" is a sort of cemetery of excuses as an interface. The excuses are collected by “donor” from the public’s experiences. The collected excuses are immediately sealed and fossilized in a sugar jar with their sweet lies as being enshrined into urns. The sweet and fragile excuses are expired and it is time to commemorate for the worn-out excuses.
